about

Triptych: EP / Tea Party / daggers, early

Last seen and heard in the archaic but some say lovely, cassette format, courtesy of Seattle's Elsinor Records who first coined the Triptych title for these three miniature masterpieces which the label released in 1999.

Back in the mid nineties, before the Elsinorian release, these seminal recordings helped usher in a whole cavalcade of imaginary people with sleighbells round their necks and plural mice for earmuffs. Now, all these years later, they still sound great and fresh, promising to turn on a whole new generation of excellent tree stumps and persimmon guts.
